With his over 16 years working experience for US Department of State, Mr. Alam imparts variety of Operations Management Training. Serving as an Accredited Adjunct Faculty & Trainer of US Govt. Foreign Service Institute (FSI), he has developed and conducted variety of training courses to include, DDT, OH&S, Fleet and Logistics Management related training, Administrative Management Excellence, Customer Services Training at US Government’s Regional Employee Development Center in South Asia, Europe and USA and trained about 2000+ Management employees of US Department of State.

Mr. Alam is a Smith System [an affiliated member of International Association for Continued Education and Training (IACET), Washington, DC, USA] certified Defensive Driving Trainer. He holds “Three” Smith System Defensive Driving Trainer certificates. His first Smith System ToT course has completed in Malaysia in 2007, the refresher Smith System ToT course has completed in 2010 in Singapore and lastly he updated his Smith System trainer course in 2013 in Bangkok. He served as a “Regional” trainer for US Embassy Dhaka as well as Regional Employee Development Center, Bangkok for 12 years.

Mr. Alam received the Presentation &Training Skills course (ToT) training from US Foreign Service Institute in Frankfurt, Germany in 2012. He holds Workplace Safety, Occupational Health & Safety (OHSA), Fire Safety, First Responder Training course for Weapons of Mass Destruction (WDM), First Aid, Management Control Excellence, How to be a Contracting officer representative (COR), eLogistics, Supervisory Responsibilities Basic and Beyond Basic etc, courses from the Foreign Service Institute of United State if America.

In 2012, Mr. Alam gladly accepted an invitation from US Department of State Logistic Management Head Quarter to join the global “expert forum” to inputs on “Integrated Fleet/Logistics Management System (eLogistics) in Washington D.C for further development of department’s logistic management process.

Among other training courses, he received many specialized and critical training on Security Awareness, Hostile Work Environment, Special security devise etc from Regional Security Office, CIA and FBI special agent American Embassy Dhaka. Mr. Alam also served as Motorcade officer to ensure logistical details for VVIP visit host by American Embassy Dhaka i.e. The First Lady of United States of America, Defense Secretary, The Secretary of State and several Five Start Generals etc visit.

After serving for US department of State, Mr. Alam founded and serves as a CEO and Lead Trainer of Skills-Craft Associates and imparts DDT, Safety, OH&S, Fleet Management and Corporate Management Excellence Training for MNCs, NCs, INGOs, NNGOs & Diplomatic Missions. He is composure for verities of training and consultation, his firm, Skills-Craft Associates, routinely for more than 20 organizations such as British American Tobacco, Unilever, Telenor Group (Grameenphone), Robi Axiata Ltd, Berger Paints, Coats Bangladesh, Graphics Tex, JICA, DANIDA, CARE, British Council, Boeing, Power Grid Company of Bangladesh, Several Diplomatic Missions etc. etc.

For his exceptional training and leadership skills, he achieved numerous ‘Awards” from US Department of State in recognition of his tremendous efforts and contributions in saving life and properties for US Government. Mr. Alam has a Masters degree and several PGDM on Safety, Environment & Management.
