Monitoring and evaluation is an integral part of Project Management to keep up a project on right track. With growing emphasis of participatory approach in development field, there has been recognition that monitoring and evaluation should also be participatory. Participatory monitoring and evaluation (PM&E) involves primary stakeholder as active participants and offer new ways of assessing and learning from changes that are more inclusive, and reflects the perspectives and aspirations.
A qualified Participatory M&E is not only good with deeper level information but also a powerful tool for ensuring participation of relevant stakeholders in the M&E process and to gear up their ownership in planning for next course of actions and taking corrective measures. The training will cover most of the important knowledge and skills of PM&E, tools, techniques, design to reporting; so that the participants can get scope to develop their expertise in PM&E very professionally.

Dr. Sakil Ahammed, PhD in Public Administration (major in Good Governance) is basically development practitioner. He is a consultant and trainer on Organizational Development, Project Development and Management, Leadership Management, and Monitoring- Evaluation. He is also researcher on social development.
Dr. Sakil graduate from Dhaka University, PhD in Public Administration (major in Good Governance) from American World University of California, USA. 20 years of working experience with 03 numbers of International Organizations, two numbers of National Organizations. He is working now as a Capacity Building Manager under DFAT project of Australian Aid. He worked in CDA as a Deputy Executive Director, in World Vision Bangladesh as a Disaster Management Specialist and in International Development Enterprise-Bangladesh as a Field Manager. He worked in deferent field as Governance, Leadership Management, Developing Organizational Policy and Staff, Project/ program Planning, Implementing, Coordination, Management.
Dr. Sakil is preparing for PMP exam under PMI institute; and running with a course for the exam. He has sound training on project management, leadership management, project proposal writing, and project planning, organizational governance, monitoring and evaluation, risk management, humanitarian principle, conflict management, report writing, ToT and modular development, etc.
